<description><![CDATA[My favorite type of poetry book is the omnibus, a set of poems and maybe short prose on an arbitrary topic or series of topics. As a teen I practically memorized large portions of these type of volumes, which featured poets and authors from anywhere and everywhere. Today I received such a volume, this one focusing on matters related to death and the hereafter. <b>The Oxford Book of Death</b> gathers poetry by a wide range of authors under headings such as <i>Graveyards and Funerals</i>, <i>Suicide</i>, and <i>Revenants</i>. As a <a href="http://www.sorabji.com/cemeteries" rel="follow">cemeterian/taphophile</a> I look forward to wandering through this volume.]]></description>
